Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation for the administrative duties for outpatient behavioral health department. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the behavioral health concepts to help organize team member schedules to see patients. Effectively communicates via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Job Function: 01. Typing Correspondence/Memos Reports Patient related documents Forms.

Job Function: 02. Registration Copy patient’s demographic and insurance information Registers patients in EMR to ensure that all legal documents and consents are signed Verify insurance information.

Job Function: 03. Accounts Receivables Request ALL patients’ co-payments/co-insurances.

Job Function: 04. Customer Service Greet clients promptly and in a professional courteous manner Handle incoming calls promptly. Direct incoming calls and messages to the appropriate person or area Maintain client contacts as w ell as in-house contacts Direct clients to appropriate area.

Job Function: 05. Schedule patients and resources efficiently Manage appointments daily Accommodate patients. Confirm scheduled appointments.

Job Function: 06. Reports Track patient volume Process statistical and revenue information

Job Function: 07. Miscellaneous Sort incoming mail and distribute to appropriate person or area Provide coverage for department areas when needed Performs other duties when needed. Recognized limitations and seeks supervision appropriately.
