Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the hospitality industry, based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Controller will be responsible for a variety of tasks including month-end close, general ledger management, and budgeting and planning. The role also requires a good understanding of US GAAP and financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close activities and ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain and manage the general ledger

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP in all accounting functions

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

• Manage budgeting and planning processes

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct auditing tasks as necessary

• Utilize accounting skills to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations

• Assist with other accounting functions as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in the role of Controller for a minimum of 7 years

• Proficient in Accounting Functions

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing practices and procedures

• Proficiency in Budget Processes

• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP

• Experience in managing the General Ledger

• Ability to handle Month-end Close Activities

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred

• Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheets

• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
