Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a Tax and Accounting firm that is growing and looking to add a Tax Preparer to the team. We were looking for an organized and detail-oriented Tax Preparer. This role is within the financial industry and will be based in a traditional workplace setting. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports

• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets

• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements

• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

• Report analysis and findings to management team

• Use Lacerte Tax Software for preparing and filing returns

• Proficiently use Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Prepare S-Corporations and Partnership Returns

• Maintain and update the database of the clients

• Resolve tax-related issues in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a role as a Tax Preparer

• Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software is essential

• Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Excel is required

• Understanding of S-Corps and Partnership Returns is vital

• Candidates must possess excellent attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure

• A commitment to continuous professional development

• High level of integrity and professional accountability
