MTF Senior Regional Director Donor Services in United States

Overview/Risks

Develops and maintains effective business relationships between MTF and Members in the assigned territory, including management of agreements and financial negotiations. Assists the Members in promoting donation in their service areas. Addresses concern of the Members regarding MTF policies and procedures. Facilitates communication regarding the Members adherence to MTF policies. Participates in new Member development and start-up.

Must be able to Commute to Edsion NJ once per month

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains Member relationships at all levels, with a focus on the C-suite.

  • Maintains ongoing open communication with Member staff, through telephone and written contacts, at industry meetings, and on-site visits with each member throughout the year.

  • Appropriately addresses technical and procedural issues as raised by the Member.

  • Communicates concerns to Members that are observed by MTF regarding technical, clinical, or documentation errors.

  • Provides consistent, meaningful information and feedback to all appropriate Member staff.

  • Maintains a high level of knowledge/awareness of the political situation(s) in each location.

  • Provides a high level of service to each Member emphasizing partnership approach at all times.

  • Maintains current knowledge of all aspects of tissue banking, tissue recovery, and allograft applications.

  • Facilitates the orientation and training of MTF field staff and Member staff as needed.

  • Provides thorough communication and documentation to the MTF National Office verbally and/or in writing as indicated.

  • Fully participates as a member of the Partner Relations workgroup through joint projects and by sharing relevant information and ideas.

  • Participates in contract and financial negotiations in assigned programs as guided by Director of Partner Relations.

  • Participates in annual budget process as guided by Director of Partner Relations. Responsible to monitor expenditures according to budget and to pro-actively control costs.

  • Functions as a DSD liaison to assigned MTF departments to insure communication of policy, concerns, problems, and new procedures on an intra- and inter-departmental basis.

  • Assists recovery members with issues related to Medical Examiners/Coroners and funeral homes.

  • Maintains a relationship with all academic members in assigned territory.

  • Participates in Tissue Banking and Donation-related communities at the national level.

  • Participates in MTF/DSD strategic planning implementation under the direction of the Director of Partner Relations.

  • Participates as assigned to DSD critical issue analysis working toward task completion.

  • Participates in new business development as directed by the Director of Partner Relations and the EVP Donor Services.

  • Oversees and/or assists with the initiation and start-up of new Member programs as directed by Director of Partner Relations and EVP Donor Services.

  • Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned by the direct report Director of Partner Relations and DSD Senior Management.

  • Functions as support to the Partner Relations workgroup in the absence of DSD Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Management

  • Minimum of three years' management experience

  • Minimum of seven years' experience in donation/transplantation

  • Ability to travel extensively and to maintain a home office.

  • Located in the Eastern United States, with easy airport access.

  • PC literacy required. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong Excel and PowerBI skills.

  • Experience wth virtual meeting platforms, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Energetic, self-directed, service-oriented.

  • Goal-oriented, demonstrated ability to plan, budget, and manage a territory. Capable of establishing territory goals and executing plans for achieving them

  • Fast learner who exhibits creativity and flexibility. Dynamic leadership skills. Effective in team environment. Effective influencer in matrix management situations. Comfortable communicating in new and unfamiliar environments.

  • Capable of maintaining open communication with colleagues, peers and staff.

  • Open to and supportive of the ideas, issues and needs of others.
