We are seeking an experienced attorney with relevant industry experience, including counseling in-house business clients, to join the Sanofi North America Legal team as Corporate Counsel, US Vaccines.

Main Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all vaccine-related activities comply with U.S. federal, state, and local regulations, including FDA guidelines. Provide legal advice on regulatory submissions, labeling, advertising, and promotional materials.

• Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to vaccine development, manufacturing, distribution, and collaborations with external partners, healthcare providers, and governmental entities.

• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks associated with vaccine development and distribution. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, including compliance programs and training for internal teams.

• Intellectual Property Protection: Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property related to vaccines, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. Handle any IP disputes or litigation.

• Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with various departments such as R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs to provide legal guidance on vaccine projects and initiatives, ensuring that business objectives are met while maintaining legal and ethical standards.

About you:

• BA/BS, Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience

• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and other corporate standard software – required

• Team player with a commitment to developing strong collaborative relationships with legal colleagues, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated ability to understand legal principles and compliance, as well as business requirements
