J&J Surgical Vision is inviting highly motivated, tenacious and self-starter talent to join our Singapore Commercial team! In this role, you play an important role in achieving sales and driving share gain within our high-paced Singapore private and government Ophthalmology accounts in Cataracts and Refractive segment. What the successful candidate will do:

This role has an overall responsibility for driving sales, achieving targets and manages assigned territory while operating within an assigned budget with the below scope:

Account Management

  • Be part of the team in determining sales forecasts for business planning to the management through active inputs on market insights and information, sales reports and required documents

  • Identify stakeholders and opportunities for the key account and develop customer engagement plan for the account

  • Develop account plans with defining short and long term strategy to support the growth of prioritised accounts

  • Monitor performance metrics and is responsible for account performance and commercial proposals; ensures sales target and goals are met or exceed

  • Performs contract and/or tender management activities as necessary

Customer Engagement:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with all key customers

  • Identify and understand each customer’s motivation, unique business needs and objectives

  • Develops customer and product focused presentation packages to address our customers’ needs

  • Acquisition of new account and customers

  • Proactively schedules appointments and make sales presentations to customers

  • Regular customer engagement to gather information on orders and market conditions, at the same time active follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with our products

  • Coordinate Professional Development activities to enhance the knowledge of Healthcare professionals

Marketing & Operations

  • Works with appointed distributor to ensure customer service is met and operations workflow is optimal

  • Executes promotional activities that are designed to advance sales in specific product lines or areas

  • Proactively assist in implementing market development and field marketing activities with the clear focus in attaining established sales goals including market share objectives

  • Partner with our marketing team in development of marketing plan, execution of marketing programs and materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with min 3 years working experience in sales &/ marketing

  • Proven experience and track record in sales, good to have medical device industry (Ophthalmology preferred)

  • Ability to handle multiple projects with strong attention to details

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills

  • Team player that strives to maintain excellent working relationship while demonstrating strong, demonstrated leadership qualities, driven by a passion to excel in a customer-centric and innovative organization

  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work and thrive in a multi-cultural environment, as well as an ability to work in a matrix environment are required
