Robert Half is excited to partner with an industry leading manufacturing company for their plant controller opening. The Plant Controller is a key member of the leadership team and will have multi-site responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close processes for multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Coordinate with various departments to collect necessary financial data for consolidation.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports up to trial balance.

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in accordance with GAAP standards.

• Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure financial integrity.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

• Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.

• Prepare budget forecasts and compare actual financial performance against budgeted targets.

• Participate in capital budgeting process and monitor capital spending against approved budgets.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and collections.

• Oversee payroll processing activities, including calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.

• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.

  Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• 5+ years related experience in Manufacturing

• Thorough knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

• Multi-site financial reporting experience a plus

• Must have Advanced Microsoft Excel (v-look ups/Pivot tables)
