Summary: The Manager, Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Accreditation reports to the Director of Graduate Medical Education and Medical Staff Administration and supports the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) to provide oversight and expert consultation for Roger Williams Medical Center sponsored programs in the following areas: ACGME accreditation (Next Accreditation System or NAS) for the Institution and its programs, Management of GME Annual Review Process for the Institution and its programs, Faculty and Staff Development for GME Programs, Preparation and management of the Clinical Learning Environment Reviews (CLER), Development and implementation of GME “Best Practice” resources, Core curriculum development and implementation for residents and fellows

Education: Master’s degree in Curriculum/Instruction, Education, Health Care or relevant field. Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, in addition to below work experience requirements, may be consider in lieu of Master’s degree.

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in teaching, directing, or managing an education program within a university or a teaching hospital setting. Preferred: Experience in administration of ACGME-accredited GME programs within a complex medical school or teaching hospital setting
