NBC Universal Senior Manager, Technical Services - Facilities in Orlando, Florida

JOB SUMMARY: Manage maintenance personnel, activities, and budgets in multiple assigned areas of responsibility, including all labor and non-labor resources to maintain superior show quality and customer satisfaction. Support initiatives to continuously improve guest and employee safety.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages all aspects of the facilities maintenance program within multiple assigned areas of responsibility, including planned, quick call, discretionary, and emergency repair work, as well as comprehensive asset life-cycle management. Develops and refines maintenance standards and maintains all OSHA and Universal Quality Standard.
Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, and recognition
Plans, prepares, and manages assigned capital and expense budgets
Secure reliable and cost-effective contracted services via scope development, competitive bidding, and contract oversight
Establish and maintain relationships across departments to ensure highest standards of guest experience, show quality, and operational readiness
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent or technical school required.
Bachelor’s degree in management or technical discipline preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
9+ years’ experience of construction, operation, and maintenance management of a large (500+ acres) Theme Park.
9+ years of extensive experience in maintenance management of a Theme Park or other relevant experience is required with 9+ years of direct supervisory responsibilities
