Position Scope/Summary
Responsible and accountable for all warehouse areas and related activities including, but not limited to, the pulling and return to proper storage of labels and other packaging supplies, shipping/receiving, FI-FO stock rotation of finished goods, goods in process and raw materials, lot tracking, and proper storage of all materials.

Job Description:
Hourly Rate: $21.35
Key Result Accountabilities
Pulling labels for the next day’s production and put away of labels from the current day’s production according to the SOP for Label Handling
Properly unload and inspect incoming materials (ingredients, bulk tankers, packaging, supplies, etc.) according to the appropriate SOP’s
Verify quantities and compliance of received materials and properly tag and place materials in their appropriate area per the SOPs for receiving. Ensure QC approves incoming material before stocking and or use. Incoming materials shall be tagged and placed in their appropriate place during the shift they were received, along with incoming materials left over from the previous shift.
Properly picking and staging orders by the lot codes given for shipment to the customers. Prepares finished goods for shipment and provide information for bills of lading (i.e. counts, lots).
Load correct finished goods on appropriate carrier following Shipping SOP and ensure that the quantities and paperwork are correct
Provides materials to the production area as needed while maintaining proper stock rotation (FI-FO) by lot code if applicable.
Return material to the appropriate location after being used in production according to the appropriate SOP
Pick-up, delivery, or transfer of raw materials or finished goods USING FIFO STOCK ROTATION as needed
As needed staging of pre-batch skids on correct racks per SOP for Staging of Pre-batch Skids
Maintain an organized and clean work area (warehouse(s), loading dock(s), outside areas) according to the appropriate SOP’s and GMP’s
Performs a daily inspection of warehouse facilities to assure cleanliness, organization, proper storage of materials (consolidation of partial pallets of finished goods, like materials on same pallet, FI-FO stock rotation, etc.)
Moves bottles and boxes to packaging line and removes packed product as needed
Will assist with inventories as warranted
Participates on plant teams and committees
Adheres to company’s safety, conduct, sanitation, and GMP policies
Perform other duties as assigned by plant supervision
Qualifications
Positive Mental Attitude
Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with associates
Ability to operate a forklift and box truck in a safe manner
Possess good math and reading skills (office paperwork skills)
Has a positive approach to challenge solving. Is a “team” player
Performs work in a safe and timely manner with minimal direct supervision
Six (6) months experience
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
BVF forklift training (documented)
Knowledge of food plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Environmental Working Conditions
Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures established by the company and enforce these policies and procedures for department
Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures
Capable of lifting 100 pounds using safe lifting techniques
Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion
Employee will be expected to attend safety training, serve on the facility safety committee and participate in hazard analysis and resolution
Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. operational, safety, administrative, etc.)
