You | | | are delegated the administrative | | | authority, responsibility and | | | accountability necessary for | | | carrying out your assigned | | | duties. Must work 1 shift per | | | week on the unit, and be able to | | | cover open shifts when needed, | | | including on holidays and | | | weekends, and must be able to | | | answer calls from the unit as | | | needed outside of work hours. | | | | | | Job Requirements: | | | | | | To perform this job successfully, | | | an individual must be able to | | | perform each essential duty | | | satisfactorily. Must possess the | | | ability to seek out new methods | | | and principles and be willing to | | | incorporate them into existing | | | practices. | | | | | | - Graduate of an accredited | | | school of nursing | | | - State of Nebraska Licensed | | | Practical Nurse License | | | - Prefer previous clinical | | | experience | | | - CPI certification obtained | | | within 90 days of employment | | | - BLS obtained within 30 days | | | of employment | | | | | | Ability to apply knowledge of | | | patient rights, safety rights, | | | safety practices, infection | | | control principles, and risk | | | management issues. Ability to | | | follow policies and procedures of | | | department and facility. Ability | | | to maintain a high level of | | | integrity, confidentiality and | | | professionalism. Serve on | | | committees and assist with | | | programs of the facility to | | | constantly improve the quality of | | | health care and promote good | | | public relations.
