The Senior HRIS Analyst role serves as the subject matter expert on HR Systems. Both highly analytical and client facing, the position provides support to all levels of teammates in the organization and the business in general. This role has primary responsibility for data analytics and reporting of teammate data to drive business decisions. Additionally, as a subject matter expert this role is responsible for working collaboratively with the HR Operations team and the broader HR function on troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, ensuring data integrity and protection, documentation, training, reporting, auditing, and compliance of HR systems. This position will support ongoing process improvement activities to bring greater efficiency and effectiveness to the Human Resource function, as well as the entire company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and application support for HRIS (UKG) including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system issues and unexpected results, configuration of new functionality, evaluation of new capabilities in the platform, and process improvements to gain efficiency and effectiveness of the platform.

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for analysis of teammate data to equip business leaders and HR Business Partners to drive key business decisions.

  • Escalate issues as appropriate and notify affected users of issues in a timely manner.

  • Recommend application design and configuration changes to meet the business needs of company.

  • Prepare specifications and work with UKG support and/or consultants as needed to configure, test and implement changes to the system.

  • Provide oversight of the development and maintenance of user procedures, guidelines and documentation.

  • Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

  • Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar operations and settings for users.

  • Document and test system upgrades, enhancements, or integration with systems to ensure adequate information security, data integrity and protection, compliance and continued functionality.

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, training and guidance to HRIS users.

  • Configure custom functions such as automated queries, filters, macros, user defined fields and reports.

  • Provide training to the HR team, leaders, and employees on HRIS functionality.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.

  • Ensure HRIS compliance with relevant laws and regulations and completes Federal and State mandate reporting requirements within the required deadlines.

  • Stay aware of changes in HR technology and makes recommendations for updates.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

  • 7+ years’ experience supporting an enterprise HRIS applications.

  • UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions experience highly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience configuring an HRIS to meet business requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with reporting and analytics of employee data.

  • Hands-on experience with integration and interfaces

  • IBM Cognos experience and/or UKG BI.

  • MS Access experience.

  • SQL experience preferred.

  • Experience with HRIS data and integration architecture (API’s, reporting, etc).

  • Global user / systems support experience highly preferred.

  • Experience with Cornerstone on Demand is a plus.

  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements.

  • Proven ability to document, assess and improve end-to-end business processes.

  • Ability to develop and execute test scripts to assure the quality of systems changes and regression test core functionality.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills.

  • Strong communication skills and relationship building with leadership, peers, business clients, shared services teams and vendors.
