Description

As part of Robert Half's team, the primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and oversee the payroll processing for all employees. The HR/Payroll Specialist will operate in a team environment, working under tight deadlines, with confidentiality and discretion maintained at all times. This position will provide high-level administrative support and enhance the effectiveness of the Human Resource Manager, with specific responsibility for administrative functions such as organizational planning, time management, assisting with key projects, preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Additionally, this position will be responsible for coordinating projects that may involve personnel at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

For the ideal candidate, Robert Half is seeking someone with prior experience in HR or payroll administration. A solid understanding of HR principles and practices, particularly in time and attendance management and payroll processing, is crucial.

The role demands exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in navigating complex payroll systems. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines is essential, as is effective communication, both verbal and written, given the need for collaboration within the HR team and with employees at all levels of the organization.
