DATA SOURCING & ANALYTICS LEAD

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Data Sourcing & Analytics Lead provides strategic direction and leads the execution and adoption of strategic data sourcing within CNB for U.S. International Holding Company (IHC) , CNB and for Royal Bank of Canada Head Office (HO) and its subsidiaries operating in the U.S. Position will build the roadmap for a highly efficient data ecosystem across different functions and systems, provides solutions to organize, share, leverage and reuse data across various business and technology functions. This would be a highly transformational job to build a single view of data from across the Bank and avoid redundancy of data.

What you will do

• Lead data sourcing activities within City National pertaining data feeds such as FR-Y14Q, AIRB, CECL, IFRS9 and others, and ensure timely delivery to business and system consumer(s).

• Acting as the CNB End of Day Contract (EODc) Product Owner, work with Data Owner Subject Matter Experts to develop data standards and rules for cleansing, mapping, integrating, managing, establishing hierarchies for key company data.

• Manage cross functional team relationship, impact assessment, others including technology to ensure successful delivery and integration of data end-to-end(CNB to RBC), and is the main point of contact for any EODc data related activities from change management to requirements to solution validation to deployment.

• Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates to senior management as appropriate

Must-Have*

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Services industry with significant deliverables in data sourcing related projects/programs

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading large scale data-related projects and change management

Skills and Knowledge

• Expert in Data requirements: interviewing, facilitation, gap analysis, data analysis, business process mapping, user interface design and mock-up

• Thorough knowledge of reconciliation design, data integration, and data quality and controls, and exception resolution processes

• Thorough understanding of functional and control areas in Banking/Capital Markets

• Thorough knowledge of SDLC: Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
