Purpose of the Work:

To provide data administration on behalf of CBRE clients, completing all duties, responsibility and accountabilities in a timely manner ensuring all targets are met.

Main Scope:

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients & attends regular client meetings.

  • Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.

  • Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.

  • Coordinates and manages moves, adds and change activities.

  • Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labour for projects.

  • Manages capital projects. Prepares capital project and operating budget and variance reports.

  • Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures. Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost centre coding.

  • Uses pc and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. Provides process and procedure training.

  • Conducts financial/business analysis including preparation of reports.

  • Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.

  • Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labour, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviours that are consistent with the company's values.

  • Comply with all HSE guidelines & complete reports, audits, and action plans on-time.

  • Seek Operational Excellence through initiatives that lead to Quality enhancement, Efficiency, and Cost Savings.

  • Deliver against Financial & Non-financials targets as outlined annually.

  • In addition to all above, other duties may be assigned by the line manager.

Education:

  • General Bachelor’s Degree / Engineering Degree

  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience and/or training. Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

  • Engineering background / certification is highly preferred.

  • Facility Management certification preferred. Driver's license may be required.

Communications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

QHSE:

Acting with the authority of the employer's representative in the area where it is assigned, it is responsible for monitoring and supervising whether the occupational health and safety measures taken in the workplace are complied with, and for reporting and working to eliminate nonconformities. When assigning duties to the employee subordinate, it takes into account the suitability of the employee for the job in terms of health and safety. CBRE acquires the necessary organization and performs the duties to be aware of the duties, powers and responsibilities of the manager as defined in the QHSE Procedures
