Our client, is seeking a Mechanical & Utility Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical & Utility Engineer, you will be part of the department and supporting the team.

Job Title: Mechanical & Utility Engineer

Location: Jefferson, WI

What’s the Job?

• Lead mechanical & utility design and construction activities, including HVACR, liquid handling systems, heat transfer systems, steam systems, chill water systems, and natural gas systems.

• Collaborate with the corporate engineering team to align project scopes, designs, and coordination reviews.

• Manage onsite mechanical/utility construction for capital projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

• Oversee field observations, equipment commissioning, and utility startup by third-party services during construction.

• Review and approve contractor means and methods, ensuring compliance with Nestlé Purina standards.

• Evaluate feasibility and cost estimates for existing and new factory sites and buildings.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Licensed Professional Engineer (highly recommended)

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical/utility design, including field experience with large-scale construction projects.

• Experience in Food & Beverage, CPG, or industrial manufacturing capex projects.

• Proficiency in generating, reviewing, and field tracing P&IDs.

• Experience with multi-discipline team collaboration and industrial capital projects.

• Proficient in process flow development and P&ID development.

• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, STAAD, Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, BIM 360, Procore.
