General Purpose of Job

This position will provide functional system administration, support services, and deliver assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of Accounting Systems responsibility. They will partner with business and IT partners to support accounting systems and processes. They will also work closely with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure deliverables are accurate and on-time.

What you'll be doing

• Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

• Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

• Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

• Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

• Performs reconciliation between ledger and administrative systems within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

• Creates queries and reports.

• Creates and maintains detailed process documentation

• Participates in projects related to the applications/processes for his/her assigned area of responsibility.

• Identifies opportunities and utilizes system technology to create process improvements; Participates in various initiatives intended to improve specific areas or functions within department.

• Monitors Managed Service Provider (MSP) activity and provides direction as necessary to ensure deliverables are accurate and on-time.

• Analyzes and resolves data issues and errors within the Accounting Rules Engine and/or DI Hub

What we’re looking for

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)

• 1 - 3+ Years of experience with finance systems and accounting that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)

Pay Range: $53,500 - $92,500

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
