Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Provide insightful commentary on financial statements, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

• Collaborate with the FP& A department to develop financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

• Conduct financial audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Prior experience in public accounting or auditing is a plus.

• Banking industry experience is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
