MetroHealth SUPERVISOR RADIOLOGY- MRI in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: variable 7:30 am - 4pm

Summary:

Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective operations of assigned area(s) within Radiology. Assumes responsibility for ensuring appropriate imaging services to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Vascular Interventional Department: Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology. Current Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with an advanced certification in Vascular Interventional. Possess a current Radiography License through the Ohio Department of Health. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Vascular Interventional. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

CT Department: Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology. Current Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with an advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT). Possess a current Radiography License through the Ohio Department of Health. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in CT. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Ultrasound Department: Required: One of the following: • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology with an advanced certification in Sonography (Abdominal and OB/GYN), and/or registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (abdominal and OB/GYN). • Graduate of an accredited Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Sonography program and registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Registration in all of the following specialties must be obtained within 3 years of employment: OB/GYN, Abdominal, Vascular, and Pediatric. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Nuclear Medicine Department: Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology and/or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Possess a current Nuclear Medicine License from the State of Ohio. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Diagnostic Radiology Department: Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology. Current Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Possess a current Radiography License through the Ohio Department of Health. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

MRI Department: Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology. Current Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with an advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Possess a current Radiography License through the Ohio Department of Health. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in MRI. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Breast Imaging Department: Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology. Current Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with an advanced certification in Mammography. Possess a current Radiography License through the Ohio Department of Health. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Breast Imaging. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), or obtains certification within the standard probationary period. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

For All: Preferred: Previous supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
