The Data Policies, Standards, control framework and data quality issue mgt Group Manager is accountable for policies, procedures, standards, best practices and remediating enterprise data quality issues across all BUs and CFs. This leader will be accountable for the interaction and communication across executive stakeholders and teams to meet data policy compliance and across our data quality issue management process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Accounting to define and design the enterprise data management and governance policy.

  2. Accountable to define and design the data management and governance enterprise procedures, standards and best practices, while partnering across BUs and CFs to become compliant.

  3. Accounting to assess compliance with the Data Policy and Standards across BUs and CFs annually.

  4. Accountable to executive the data quality issue management processes and partner across BUs / CFs and engineering teams to solution remediation plans and partner to execute those remediation plans.

  5. Partner with BU / CF teams to drive improvements across critical business processes and critical data elements as we continue to remediate regulatory issues and re-image how business processes can be optimized.

  6. Build out a team based upon agile delivery to support sustainable regulatory reporting, business resiliency, execution across our regulatory and audit issue portfolio.

  7. Assess the current state of the data policy, data procedures, data frameworks and standards to re-design them to meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.

  8. Partner with the BU / CF organization to implement the Truist enterprise operating model to meet our regulatory obligations, while bringing best in class industry practices to improve people, process and technology.

  9. Roll out the DMAC and CDMC control assessment frameworks enterprise wide and assess maturity on an annual basis.

  10. Staying up to speed on emerging industry and technologies while bringing those new practices to Truist.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Experience in financial services industry

  2. Experience in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment

  3. Experience in building a high performing team

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Expert in solution designs based upon business requirements.

  2. Previous Director or head of engineering on the cloud

  3. Experience in building financial services technology cloud strategies.
